The Wellcome Sanger Institute is a pioneer in mapping the human genome. Today the results of its work into genetic research and human DNA provides the foundation for new remedies to life threatening conditions like cancer. Our client, Spa Communications invited us to work with them to create a filmed case study on behalf of Schneider Electric, depicting the pivotal role of Sanger’s data centre in the advancement of human healthcare. Filmed on location in Cambridgeshire, drone footage was introduced to add some context material – we worked onsite with Sanger’s HSE team to organise the appropriate Health & Safety and Risk Assessment documents together with permissions for Limewood’s own CAA licenced pilot and team. To deliver a high level of production value, the filming required various pieces of equipment, including a Canon C300, a slider and jib. Once again, we had to meet Schneider’s brand guidelines to ensure high quality finished video outputs for a range of uses from social media channels and exhibition booths, to corner office meetings and cinematic presentations.
