Chef Andrew Clarke talks to Craft Guild of Chefs about how he is innovating. He was nominated for 2019 Craft Guild of Chef ‘Innovation Awards’.
The Craft Guild of Chefs organise the ‘Innovation Awards’. For the second year in a row we were commissioned to create the content for these awards by Dewberry Redpoint. The three nominees are announced on the evening where ‘live’ voting takes place.
In advance of this we visited each of the three sites and filmed the interview carried out by David Mulcahy together with capturing b-roll of the restaurant. Two cameras were used, together with a rail for tracking. Filmed mainly using daylight with some lighting for the interviews. This we edited a speedy turn around to be shown on the night. This year the winner was Andrew Clarke from St Leonards Restaurant in Shoreditch, London. The other nominees were Andrew Wong from Kym’s and Will Bowlby of Kricket.
