Steelite International, Stoke-on-Trent, had started production on the Aurora range of ceramics and needed a video to be used as part of the launch at the beginning of October. This was our 3rd visit to the factory between the two lockdowns in 2020. The range, inspired by the Aurora Borealis uses beautiful reactive glazes and techniques making them really individual.
The filming was carried out over a couple of days ensuring the various stages of production were captured. Filmed using Canon C300 MK2 and a Sony A9 with ambient lighting and a rail were the main pieces of equipment on location. The editing and grading took a couple of days.
